The other day I received this set from @facetheory which I really wanted because I only heard good things about this brand and that their products are cruelty-free and without irritants.
“Oil Control Skincare Set” is the perfect starter set for oily, congested or acne-prone skin (like mine) . Salycilic acid, glycolic acid and niacinamide help to fight and prevent breakouts and blemishes and expedite cell renewal to fade acne scars.
These awesome Oil Skincare set contains 3 awesome products:
▫️Clarifying Cleanser that smells like a garden full of mandarin contains a powerful trifecta of acids at a low pH to clarify oily, congested, blemish-prone skin.
Clarifying Cleanser C2 is specially formulated for oily and congested skin and doubles as a glycolic face peel. A powerful triple blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids purifies pores and minimises redness while gently resurfacing your skin. Available scented or unscented. The scented option contains cold-pressed mandarin essential oil.
- Glycolic acid (4%) and lactic acid (1%) exfoliate skin.
- Salicylic acid (2%) penetrates deep into the pores.
It really cleans my skin and because it’s a low pH products it tingle a bit, but I love how my skin feels after I use it : soft and clean! I can really see that it really helps with my spots from acne too. Definetly is a really nice product!

Aqua, dimethylisosorbide (sugar based solvent), glycolic acid (4%), prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, cetyl alcohol (naturally derived non-drying coconut fatty acid), glyceryl stearate (emulsifier), salicylic acid (2%, BHA), polyglyceryl-6 stearate (emulsifier), sodium glycolate (salt of glycolic acid), prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) kernel oil, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, lactic acid (1%, AHA), glyceryl caprylate (emollient), sodium lactate (salt of lactic acid), polyglyceryl-6 behenate (natural emulsifier), cetyl hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived thickener), xanthan gum (vegan rheology modifier), sodium salicylate (salt of salicylic acid). Scented version contains citrus nobilis (mandarin) peel oil (limonene: 0.97%; linalool: 0.01%).
▫️Porebright Serum N10 is a light serum formulated with 10% niacinamide and azelaic acid to even out skin tone and reduce pigmentation, redness, and facial photoageing.
- Niacinamide has been shown to reduce the appearance of acne lesions.
- Salicylic acid gently exfoliates while sodium lactate and sodium hyaluronate protect skin’s moisture balance.
- Azelaic acid is derived from wheat, rye and barley. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties combat clogged pores and acne. Studies show that azelaic acid can reduce hyperpigmentation.
I use this for like 3-4 times a week, at PM routine and I really like that it feels so comfortable on the skin with no tackiness or residue. This really does minimise the appearance of your pores and since I use it acne does not appear so often. The skin shines with health. I definitely recommend it, but be careful not to use it daily or in combination with another active serum, because you risk irritating your skin. If you are a newbie with active serums, use this just 2 times a week and then increase.
